This Splash Dam South Trail runs along the Blackwater River and covers all types of terrain and scenery. It has a few easy short climbs and many rock gardens. The level of difficulty is constant throughout the trail with typical challenges in the area, including rocks, roots, and mud. This trail is very well maintained with most mud bogs are cleared. This is an excellent trail and can link up to other trails to create a loop. The trail is only open Sundays during hunting season.
